Your New Role

We are looking for a dedicated, energetic and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team on a full time basis located in our Brisbane Airport Branch.

Bring your flexible, Can-Do attitude to work every day and enjoy being part of an amazing team. As well as having experience in a similar role, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervision of warehouse personnel and the efficient operations of warehouse function.
  • To ensure compliance with Customs, and other relevant regulators.
  • To supervise and coordinate the collection and delivery of goods.
  • To supervise the unloading, checking, positioning, and reporting of goods into the warehouse.
  • To ensure regular servicing and maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
  • To ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy, and is a safe working requirement that conforms to OH&S requirements.
  • Take responsibility for processing all warehouse and distribution requirements in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Take responsibility for inspecting freight received or dispatched to the consignee/shipper.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring the movement of materials in and out of the warehouse is controlled and documented.

Customer service is crucial in this role which means you will need to exercise a level of professionalism and understanding when it comes to customer needs.

What You Need

We will help you be successful in this role. To start you will need:

  • 5 plus years experience in warehouse and distribution in the freight forwarding industry
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
  • A process improvement and can-do approach to operations
  • Proven experience in managing operations with clear deadlines to meet import / export scheduling.
  • Someone who is flexible, resilient, level-headed to handle pressures and challenges
  • Someone who is client and customer service focused
  • Ability to think and work strategically
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail for warehouse compliance a necessity.
  • Prior experience with ABF 77G licence and RACA TSP procedures an advantage.
