Secondary Humanities Teacher (Commerce, Business, Legal Studies)

Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2024.

The Wantirna South Campus is seeking a full-time Secondary Teacher (Humanities) able to teach Commerce, Business, and Legal Studies subjects, to commence in January 2025. We are seeking candidates who have a commitment to our College values, with a demonstrated ability to encourage, educate and equip our students in achieving their personal best.

The successful applicant must:

  1. Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  2. Be able to teach Humanities (Commerce, Business and Legal Studies)
  3. Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
  4. Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
  5. Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities.
  6. Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.
