We're on the hunt for a highly capable and collaborative New Business Development Executive to support and enhance our Commercial team that help power one of Melbourne's most iconic institutions.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in identifying, developing, and converting new commercial opportunities in the Australian sports sponsorship landscape. You'll work with some of the most recognised brands in the country and contribute to the continued success of major racing events and entertainment experiences hosted at Flemington Racecourse.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage a strong new business pipeline aligned to VRC's strategic goalsProspect and engage potential partners using outreach tools and creative strategiesConduct meetings and calls with prospective clients to present tailored partnership solutionsCollaborate cross-functionally to design compelling commercial proposalsDeliver revenue growth through new business acquisition and assist in renewalsMaintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reporting on pipeline healthRepresent VRC at key industry events and stay ahead of market trends

About You

We're looking for someone who is:Commercially savvy with at least 4 years' experience in media/sports salesA confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skillsProactive, results-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced team environmentSkilled in generating leads, managing sales pipelines, and closing dealsComfortable collaborating across teams and building strong relationshipsPassionate about sport, events, and bringing innovative ideas to life

You must hold a valid driver's license and passport.
