Job Purpose:

The Key Account Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic key accounts with multiple assets across Australasia (Australia, New Zealand, and neighbouring regions). The role involves driving business growth by establishing long-term partnerships, expanding company's market presence, and maximizing revenue opportunities within the industrial automation, process control, and digital solutions sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Account Management & Business Development

  • Identify and target key accounts with multiple assets (e.g., mining, oil & gas, power, chemical, and manufacturing industries) across the assigned region.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand THE COMPANY's footprint within existing and new key accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and stakeholders in target industries.
  • Understand customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and drive adoption of THE COMPANY's products and services.

Market Expansion & Revenue Growth

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in Australasia.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to penetrate key industries and secure long-term contracts.
  • Collaborate with technical and sales teams to prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

Cross-Border & Multi-Asset Account Development

  • Work with key accounts that have operations in multiple countries to drive standardized adoption of THE COMPANY solutions.
  • Coordinate with THE COMPANY's global teams to ensure seamless service delivery for international clients.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across regions to enhance account growth.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and project teams to align business strategies.
  • Provide regular reports on sales pipeline, market trends, and key account performance.
  • Represent THE COMPANY at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in key account management, business development, or sales in industrial automation, process control, or related B2B sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing large, multi-site accounts and achieving revenue growth.
  • Experience in Australasia (Australia / NZ) markets, mining, energy, and heavy industries is essential.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand complex industrial solutions and articulate value propositions.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Language: Able to speak, read and write English & Mandarin as person is required to work with and coordinate with China HQ & SEA members.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the region (up to 50%).
