Job Description

About you

  • A recognized university degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, policies, and systems.
  • Understanding of state and federal legislation for tax, superannuation, long service leave, and National Employment Standards.
  • Experience with high-volume data entry with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and service skills to deliver quality service and build supportive relationships with suppliers, vendors, auditors, and other members of the finance team.

What you will be doing?

As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for providing flexibility within the Finance Department and strengthening the overall skill base of the financial team. The Finance Officer may be responsible for hotel financial functions, including but not limited to: processing payroll, credit applications, invoicing, debt collection, Accounts Payable, and general cashiering duties.

The Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport is a new dual-branded, 464-room hotel about to celebrate its first birthday on 1 July 2025

The Novotel Melbourne Airport has 248 rooms, and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport has 216 rooms. It is located just steps away from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport. This will be a village centre supporting the airport community as a place to gather and socialize for everyone who travels and works from the airport precinct.
