Role: Senior Educator


Organisation: Goodstart Early Learning


Location: Perth region, WA – all centres located within the Perth and surrounds region in WA


Salary Range: $38.20 p/hr to $39.35 p/hr + Superannuation (dependent on qualifications and experience)


Employment Type: Full-time Permanent



Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
  • Lead a classroom effectively with passion and enthusiasm, engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
  • Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high-quality education and practice in collaboration with the Education Leader.
  • Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
  • Positively contribute to delivering the centre and business plans.


Qualifications / What You'll Need
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Ability to lead a classroom effectively, engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
  • Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members
