A unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Waste Services team. You will be responsible for the collection and processing of the City's waste and unwanted resources in order to deliver sustainable and cost effective waste and recycling services to residential and business customers, in alignment with Council's Waste Strategy. Reporting to the Executive Manager Waste Services, this role is responsible for a team that procures and manages a variety of critical contracts that provide essential services to approximately 30,000 properties every week and ensures Council's Dunmore Recycling and Waste Disposal Depot remains compliant and provides a high quality service to its patrons.

The Contracts Manager will take the lead on major strategic projects, including securing and delivering the next long-term $65 million waste collection contract. The role will also deliver continuous service improvement through innovative service delivery and customer education.

We offer: permanent full time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time; commencing salary range from $98,485 - $104,514 per annum with annual step progression; 11.5% superannuation; fully maintained leaseback vehicle; and a range of employee benefits programs including novated lease options, retail discounts, corporate fitness programs, EAP, and more. Access to local government and employee benefits such as LSL after five years, three weeks sick leave per annum, and health and wellbeing leave.

- Experienced Contracts Manager with a track record in waste services or related contracts.
- Ability to lead strategic projects and manage procurement activities for complex contracts.
