Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a minimum of 12 years of experience.

  1. Proven hands-on BA experience in a financial services organisation is essential.
  2. Experience in Retail banking, Consumer finance products such as Credit Cards and Loans, Credit Risk is a strong advantage.
  3. Ability to liaise with Business Product Owners, User Experience Designers, Legal and Compliance and be the conduit to technical teams.
  4. Experience working in an Agile environment is preferable.
  5. Generating business requirements on business-critical tech focussed projects.
  6. Ownership of requirements through to delivery:
    1. Managing scope, requirements and delivery of in-house development streams.
    2. Liaise with business stakeholders and communicate delivery.
    3. Liaise with technical leads to help PM's manage sprint planning.
    4. Liaise with external vendors as required.
    5. Power to exercise governance and best practice.
  7. Identify business gaps between "as is" and "to be" states across multiple projects.
  8. Recommend solutions that will enable Westpac to achieve targeted business outcomes and deliver business value.
  9. Able to detail requirements into user stories for developers while managing many stakeholders.
  10. Developing and executing appropriate test plans.
  11. You will be a self-starter, able to work self-sufficiently.
  12. Ability to play a mentoring role for the wider team.
  13. Capability to facilitate and foster stakeholder relationships.
