The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Event Sales and Operations Manager to lead the full lifecycle of events – from sales and planning through to execution and delivery. This is a hands-on role where you'll combine strong sales acumen with operational leadership to ensure every event runs seamlessly, exceeds client expectations and drives business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships

Respond to event inquiries, create proposals, and close sales

Conduct customer meetings to understand event objectives, budgets, and expectations

Maintain strong customer relationships pre-, during, and post-event

Upsell additional services (Haulage, Liquid waste services, etc.) to increase revenue

Event Coordination and Execution

Translate customer requirements into detailed operational plans and timelines

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors

Oversee compliance, health and safety requirements and quality standards

Lead on the day event delivery, troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively

Manage staff, contractors, and delegate roles for smooth event flow

Marketing & Promotion

Support marketing initiatives for in-house and ticketed events

Collaborate on event branding, social media, and promotional strategies

What You'll Bring:

Strong sales and negotiation skills and proven experience in event management with end-to-end responsibility
