Architecture & Design Recruitment Consultant

The Practice:

Our client is a leading Melbourne-based design studio specialising in retail and hospitality design. With decades of experience crafting immersive, strategic design experiences, they collaborate closely with brand teams—bringing award-winning concepts to life.

The Role:

We're seeking a Mid-Level Interior Designer with strong Revit expertise to join their team. You'll work primarily on retail fit‑out projects, collaborating across multiple disciplines to deliver from conceptual design through to on-site execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining Revit-based 3D models, production documentation, and construction drawings
  • Developing store layouts, elevations, joinery & fixture details, and material/finishes palettes
  • Coordinating with brand leads, joinery fabricators, and contractors during tender and construction phases
  • Assisting senior designers and project leads in design development & client presentations

Your Qualifications:

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Possess tertiary qualifications in Interior Design or Interior Architecture;
  • 3–5 years' experience working on high-end Retail fitouts, ideally gained in a boutique, design driven practice;
  • Proficiency in Revit;
  • Be passionate about retail design and naturally keep up with the latest trends and innovations;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to confidently manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced studio
