We currently have two short-term opportunities to join our friendly, professional team:

1. Inclusive Education Education Assistant

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (52 hours/fortnight)

Secondary School: Year 7 to Year 12

Short-Term Contract Period: Long-Service Leave Cover ( 13 October 2025 – 12 December 2025)

We are looking for an outstanding, passionate, and inspiring Learning Support Assistant to support students who need special accommodations.

• Assist students with special learning requirements, including non-funded students with disabilities and students with English as a second language.
• Assist students who require extra time to complete assessments/ tests/exams and, if required, a reader and/or scribe in tests.
• Collaborate with Teachers to identify student issues and recommend solutions.
• Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to enhance their learning and understanding of the curriculum.
• Have experience in writing and implementing Individual Educational Programmes (IEPs).
• Have a passion for supporting Secondary School students with learning difficulties in an engaging and relevant way.
• You have developed a variety of support strategies to meet the needs of all the students you support.

2. Food Technology Assistant

Monday and Wednesday (30 hours/fortnight)

Short-Term Contract Period: Long-Service Leave Cover ( 13 October 2025 – 12 December 2025)

In this hands-on role, you will:

• Prepare ingredients and equipment for practical classes
• Support teachers during lessons to keep things running smoothly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen space
• Manage stock, resources, and assist with special events
• Have knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

If you can tick the following boxes, we would love to meet you to explore the possibilities:

• Active Christian faith and a commitment to the College Ethos and Values
• A current WWC card and Police Clearance (issued in the last 3 months)
• You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).
• Relevant qualifications in the area of their application, be experienced, approachable, and relate well to students.
• The capacity to work harmoniously in a team
• The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principal, Child Safe Modules if not already completed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including team-building and mentoring skills.
