We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Year 7 Learning Team for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. Application requirements include character limited responses to address only 2 Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) domains at application stage. The remaining AITSL domain will be assessed as part of the further assessment stage, for shortlisted applicants only.

The Role
Suitable applicants should be willing to teach across a range of MESH (Mindsets, Essential Skills and Habits) Learning Areas for students in our Year 7 team. The role would suit primary or secondary trained teachers with the capacity to demonstrate proficient professional knowledge, engagement and practice. They will ideally be highly organised and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Teachers who can create a learning environment that is differentiated, challenging, caring, and creative and that caters for a wide range of needs so all students may achieve and progress, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applicants should have the ability to work in an inclusive team to collaboratively plan and implement effective teaching and learning programs. They will ideally exhibit excellence in creating and maintaining supportive and safe learning environments and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential. With effective interpersonal skills, suitable applicants will work closely with students, colleagues and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students.
