As our Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving acquisition and maximising opportunities at Sage Hotel Wollongong. Your role involves crafting and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business ventures, and nurturing key relationships to ensure revenue growth.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute short and long-term sales strategies
  • Monitor market dynamics and competitor practices
  • Expand our sales base and shift business from competitors
  • Collaborate with national/global sales teams
  • Represent our hotels at trade shows and sales trips
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ensure customer needs are met and expectations exceeded
  • Uphold exemplary standards of conduct and safety

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in hotel systems and revenue management
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strategic and tactical mindset
  • Ability to work independently and lead others
