Job Description
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on a range of human resources matters.
  • Assist with employee relations, including resolving workplace issues and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
  • Collaborate on workforce planning and talent management strategies to meet organisational needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Analyse HR data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Deliver training and development programs to enhance staff capability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and public sector standards.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful HR Business Partner/Advisor Should Have
  • Relevant qualifications in human resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in restructures and redundancies.
  • Ideally prior experience in CPSU and clause 11 change process activities.
  • Proven experience in providing HR advice and support within the public sector or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and data analysis tools.
  • Problem-solving skills to address complex HR challenges.
