Genesis Fitness is looking for enthusiastic and motivated instructors to work with a great team. Our instructors must be qualified in their chosen field and passionate about creating an inclusive fitness community.
About Genesis FitnessWith 24-hour access, our national network spans 42 locations across Australia, offering a variety of exercise options including weights, cardio, swimming, dance, boxing, and cycling. We value inclusivity, encouragement, and empowerment.
The RoleWe seek Group Exercise Instructors who are passionate, skilled, and ready to lead classes. Qualifications in areas such as Schwinn Cycle, Freestyle, Yoga, Pilates, Barre, or Zumba are required.
Skills & Attributes- Commitment to customer service and excellent communication skills
- Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module, or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL)
- Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if needed
- Working with Children's Check
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Infection Control Training (COVID-19)
- Relevant Program Certification (Yoga, Barre, Boxing, Zumba, Pilates, etc.)
- Participation in in-house training
- Fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body preferred
- Police check as part of employment
- Friendly, can-do attitude and availability for evenings and weekends
Previous industry experience is highly regarded.
