Manager - Finance and Business Analysis

As the new Manager - Finance and Business Analysis you will report to the CFO and lead the Suncare Management Accounting & Business Partnering Team. You will coordinate and develop the annual budget and quarterly forecast, build meaningful management reporting for use by the Executive and Operational Leads, and enhance business engagement to ensure budget accountability. The position is offered as a permanent full-time opportunity, based at our office in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.

• Prepare monthly reports for executives and operational leaders to analyse performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key risks, issues, and opportunities to aid high-level decision making based on financial and commercial analysis.
  
• Undertake detailed analysis of key costs and business drivers to support decision making, recommending solutions, and supporting the implementation of improvement initiatives, including assessing and developing activity-based costing and reporting.
  
• Enhance budget and forecasting models and support the financial aspects of business case development for new business models, tenders, funding applications, and cost/benefit analysis to improve efficiency and sustainability of the organisation.
  
• Provide direction, guidance and support to your team and other staff within Suncare to ensure continued development of the financial capability across the organisation.
  
• Develop, implement, and review policy, procedure and work practices in line with relevant legislative and industry requirements and that records are accurately maintained for data integrity within systems.
  

• Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  
• Professional accounting membership (CA, CPA, CIMA or similar).
  
• High level proficiency with Excel, modelling and BI.
  
• Exceptional ability to communicate (written and verbal) technical knowledge effectively.
  
• Significant experience in management accounting, activity-based costing and business analysis.
  
• Demonstrated experience in building and leading successful teams and delivering results on time and accurately.
  
• A flexible, proactive and self-starter attitude along with the ability to work to deadlines, a passion for driving best practice and streamlining processes.
  
• Experience in health or aged care desirable but not essential.
