**About the opportunity**

Reporting to “Finance Manager, Delivery VIC/TAS/WA”, you will be responsible for the financial management and business performance of Processing operations within the VIC Delivery Network (Melbourne Parcels Facility, Melbourne Gateway, Dandenong Letters Facility).

**What you’ll deliver with us**
- Full accountability for reporting, planning, and forecasting for the Contract Mail GLs. This will include accurate and timely mid-month estimates and month-end accruals, in line with business requirements
- Identify, analyse, and report opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost management
- Provide regular insight around cost performance and monthly outlook
- Facilitate the development of projects/processes to enable the achievement of productivity and performance improvement across Delivery
- Review, evaluate, and provide advice on business cases and investment proposals
- Develop and maintain business benefits tracking and reporting for the business unit
- Analyse and monitor budget/financial assumptions and results to ensure operating expenditure, profit, and capital are maximised by examining varying internal and external drivers
- Assess and review customer and product profitability pertaining to Contractor costs
- Support Procurement and Senior Management during negotiations of contractor and supplier arrangements

**About you**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in professional services and/or industry-related role
- Strong business acumen, analytical, problem-solving, and data manipulation skills
- Demonstrated high-level financial, analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills
- High-level PC skills (particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) and exposure to TM1 or other data analysis software
