Experienced Retail Manager

Poolwerx Geelong is growing and expanding, and we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to lead our team and drive our business forward across Geelong, Surf Coast & Bellarine Peninsula.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $70K-$80K per year + superannuation

Your Impact & Responsibilities:

As a key leader in our business, you will be responsible for the store's overall success. Your role will blend hands-on customer engagement with strategic management

Leadership & Business Growth:

Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team, fostering a positive, high-performance culture.

Drive sales and profitability by setting and monitoring KPIs, managing budgets, and analysing store performance.

Develop and execute local marketing initiatives—including in-store promotions, social media engagement, and community outreach—to increase foot traffic and brand awareness.

Proactively identify opportunities for business growth, new revenue streams, and operational improvements.

Manage rostering, team training, and performance development to build a capable and confident team.

Day-to-Day Operations:

Provide an exceptional customer experience, acting as our lead expert in-store, via phone, and by email.

Conduct precise water testing and provide expert pool care advice and solutions.

Oversee all sales order processing, efficient stock management, and inventory control.

Manage the sourcing of parts and the preparation of customer quotes.

Ensure the store is impeccably presented through effective visual merchandising.
