Business Support Unit Team Leader/Office Manager

The Business Support Unit is responsible for the effective governance arrangements of ONI travel and expense management (including credit cards), media subscriptions and provides support for accounts payable and account receivable processing.

The Business Support Unit Team Leader role is unique, varied and diverse. It has a high degree of independence, and requires professionalism, integrity and the ability to thrive in a changing environment.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is client focused and can organise and manage the priorities of their team so deadlines can be met. The ability to work autonomously, use initiative, sound judgement, tact and discretion are key capabilities for performing in this role successfully. You will also contribute to the strategic planning of the team.

The key duties of the position include

  • Developing and maintaining policies and standard operating procedures
  • Implementing streamlined processes and systems to improve efficiencies
  • Providing accurate advice to all levels of staff across the agency
  • Managing a small team
  • Maintaining contemporary knowledge of relevant governance frameworks.
