ePortfolio Educational Designer/Technologist

The role is based in the brand new UNSW Health Translation Hub and supports the implementation of the Faculty of Medicine & Health's new ePortfolio platform (Risr). The position will support the initial deployment of the platform in the School of Health Sciences and the staged roll out of Risr across the Faculty. The ePortfolio Educational Designer/Technologist works collaboratively with academic and professional staff to support these activities. The role reports to the Manager, Medicine & Health Education Development Unit (MHEDU) and has no direct reports.

Location: Kensington, Sydney. Employment Type: Full-time (35 hours per week). Duration: 2 Year Fixed Term position. Remuneration: $113k - $123k base (+ 17% Super, leave loading). Work rights: Full Australian work rights for the duration of the contract.

• Work collaboratively with academic and professional staff to support the implementation and deployment of the Risr ePortfolio platform.
• Assist in accreditation, workplace-based assessment, programmatic assessment, and tracking student progress using Risr.
• Support initial deployment in the School of Health Sciences with a staged roll out across the Faculty of Medicine & Health.
• Design and develop appropriate forms, templates and reports using an ePortfolio platform in collaboration with teaching staff.
• Pilot new educational technologies, implement workflows and processes to scale the technology, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, working independently with minimal supervision.
• Organise, design, deliver and evaluate professional development workshops for staff (face-to-face and online) including resources and guides for self-directed learning.
• Provide technical support and problem-solving, developing innovative solutions while maintaining collaborative relationships with staff at all levels.

• Relevant qualifications and experience in technology-enabled learning, teaching and/or curriculum for higher education; or equivalent knowledge gained through education, training and/or experience.
• Experience using ePortfolio platforms (preferably Risr) for accreditation, workplace-based assessment, programmatic assessment, and tracking student progress.
• Experience designing and developing forms, templates and reports using an ePortfolio platform in collaboration with teaching staff.
• Experience piloting new educational technologies, implementing workflows, and evaluating technology effectiveness.
• Experience managing multiple projects with ability to work independently.
• Experience delivering professional development workshops for staff (in-person and online), including creating resources and guides for self-directed learning.
• Strong technical support and problem-solving skills with initiative and ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Excellent digital skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and Power Platform (Power BI, Automate, Apps). Knowledge of Power Apps in teaching contexts is desirable.
• Understanding of UNSW's aims, objectives and values, and relevant policies and guidelines.
• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to training.
