Overview

Senior Educator role at Goodstart Early Learning.

Centre: Goodstart Deeragun – Townsville, QLD. Employment Type: Full-Time, 38 hours per week. Pay: up to $39.35 per hour + Superannuation + Benefits.

Location: Deeragun, Townsville QLD. Centre: Goodstart Deeragun. This role involves leading a room, guiding a team of Educators, and collaborating with Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to observe, inform, and improve teaching practices while ensuring safety and inclusivity for all children.

Responsibilities
  • Take charge of your own room and lead a team of Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs.
  • Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices.
  • Ensure safety and inclusivity, tailoring learning experiences to meet the needs of all children.
  • Support the professional development of team members and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives.

You'll Need
  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Check
