
Materials Controller

dnata Catering at Newcastle Airport is recruiting for a Materials Controller. The role involves managing stock in the warehouse, including ordering, distribution and reconciliation of stock. You will forecast anticipated stock requirements, manage ordering and delivery schedules, and establish minimum and maximum stock levels by season using appropriate systems as required.
On a daily basis you will ensure work is completed according to daily schedules and that information is communicated to the right people in a timely manner. You will maintain compliance with legislative, customer and company standards, review and monitor processes, and implement changes as necessary. You will deliver a 5* service with a focus on results, handling stock issues/queries promptly and escalating unresolved matters to the relevant manager.
Responsibilities- Manage stock in the warehouse, including ordering, distribution and stock reconciliation.
- Forecast stock requirements and manage ordering and delivery schedules.
- Establish minimum and maximum stock levels by season and use appropriate systems as required.
- Ensure daily work is completed to schedule and communicate information to the right people promptly.
- Maintain compliance with legislative, customer and company standards; monitor and improve processes as needed.
- Deliver high-quality service and resolve stock issues/queries in a timely manner; escalate unresolved matters to the manager.
- Experience in a stock management environment.
- Ability to forecast stock needs and manage ordering/delivery schedules.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and commitment to high standards.
