About the Role

As a Laser Cutter Operator, you'll be hands-on with our Amada machine, ensuring every cut is accurate, efficient, and high-quality. From setup and programming through to quality control and routine maintenance, you'll help keep our fabrication workflow running smoothly and safely.

What You'll Do
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain our Amada Laser Cutter.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings with precision.
  • Load and unload sheet steel safely and accurately.
  • Carry out quality control checks on finished products.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Work independently while collaborating with a supportive workshop team.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience with CNC machinery (laser cutting experience highly regarded).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements.
  • Positive, self-motivated attitude with strong teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and tidy work practices.
  • Physical strength and dexterity to manage steel sheets.
