Protector Aluminium & Glass and ProStar Joinery (ProStar Management), established 30 years ago, manufactures and imports a wide range of quality products including aluminium and glass fencing, balustrade products, barrier and security doors, decorative screening and timber joinery supplying Bunnings Stores throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Account and Relationship Representativewho communicates with ease at all levels, is confident, has plenty of initiative and can think laterally to achieve consistent and effective results in-storeacross a set region of stores from Cairns, Townsville and Mackay.The successful candidate must be based in Townsville.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and growing sales within your regionof Bunnings stores
  • Developing and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships
  • Promoting product, service and offer promotion to identify and drive business opportunities
  • Promoting the marketing of Protector& ProStar Joineryproducts and offers
  • Customer responsiveness and problem-solving
  • Preparing regular proposals, specifications and reports
  • Strategic daily, weekly and monthly planning of territory/store visitsand meetings
  • All aspects of stock and vendor refill management including merchandising
  • Strong computer skills to enable remote reporting accountability
  • Attending product launches, facilitating in-store training and provide technical advice
  • Point of contact in-store for resolution of customer complaints and issues
  • Partnering with relevant Bunnings team members and maintaining strong consistent relationships to provide expert advice and tailored solutions for their stores to enhance sales opportunities

About you:

You will possess:

  • Outstanding relationship building andcustomer service skills at all levels – this will be the key to your success
  • An affinity with/or a genuine interest and ability to gain detailed knowledge across our products
  • Experience in facilitating structured formal and informal information and training sessions
  • High level organisational and strong planning skills with an exceptional eye for detail
  • Proven ability to adhere to processes as part of mandatory role requirements
  • Professional presentation and demeanor with the ability to represent the Company
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust to changing demands and unexpected ad-hoc tasks
  • Ability to work independently whilst also being a strong team player
  • Ability to travel regionally once a week (including overnight stays)
  • Ability to handle/move product as required
  • Strong relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed sales, business development and negotiation skills
  • Have a current Australian Drivers Licence
  • Maintained company vehicle+ fuel + phone + ipad
  • NO cold calling- we already have the client
