About the RoleThe Personal Assistant to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery (DONM) purpose is to provide high level, efficient administrative support to the DONM and Nursing Directorate. This position offers comprehensive advanced clerical, administrative, and daily coordination support to ensure the timely, reliable, and competent achievement of key objectives.
Providing professional and respectful administrative and personal assistant (PA) support to the DONM is pivotal for this role maintaining strict confidentiality, privacy and security in all business practices and communities. In this role you will be handling complaints in accordance with State and MNCLHD policies and in collaboration with Executive Management.
About YouYou will need demonstrated knowledge and capability in providing administration support at a senior level along with commitment to maintain high standards of professional conduct, including exercising discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
Demonstrated accuracy and detail in compiling reports, written correspondence and presentations is a key aspect to the PA role as well as advanced interpersonal, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Salary will be in accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.
