We are currently seeking a casual/part time Service Technician to join our team, covering the Mt Gambier region in South Australia.

About The Role

We are currently seeking a casual/part time Service Technician to join our team, covering the Mt Gambier region in South Australia. As part of the Service team and reporting to the Service Manager, you will primarily work in the field. Your role includes providing on-call backup support for Lely Astronaut milking robots and automated barn and feeding equipment on dairy and beef farms. Comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain robotic milking, feeding and barn equipment.
  • Troubleshoot customer queries via telephone support and field backup.
  • Provide 24-hour breakdown support on a rostered basis.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate with the team and maintain a flexible approach to work.
  • Submit accurate reports.
Candidate Profile
  • Previous service experience in the dairy-related industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Electrical, mechanical, or agricultural experience is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license is essential.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve effectively.
  • Residing in or near Mt Gambier, South Australia.
