Due to growth, we are seeking the employment of a Electrical Fire Technician to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join ARA Fire recognised for its strong customer focus in fire protection, service, and minor works.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Working autonomously and within a tight-knit team the Electrician is supported by administrative and trades persons to work within the Service team providing electrical services relating to exit & emergency lighting, fire detection & evacuation systems, and general electrical work.

Sites: Newcastle/Hunter Valley

Duties include:

  • D&C / breakdown works
  • Close liaison with our client on site personal
  • Managing your own daily schedule
  • Completing all on-site paperwork to access locations and perform tasks
  • Work with other ARA Trades to assist, perform 2 man testing etc.
  • Completion of task within our Service Maintenance software Uptick

Requirements:

  • Electrical Licence
  • Fire experience highly regarded
  • Completion of police check and medical inclusive of drug & alcohol test

The successful applicant requires a high degree of organisational skills, prioritisation of tasks, customer focus, calm, focused, self-motivated, interaction with clients' daily and owns a task through to its completion.
