Key Responsibilities:- Support and deliver environmental assessment and planning projects, including EIS, SSI, SSD, MID, and REFs
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across both public and private sectors
- Contribute to work winning and business development, including the preparation of competitive and compelling fee proposals
- Lead and mentor team members, supporting their development and contributing to a positive team culture
- Provide expert advice on large-scale local and national infrastructure projects such as: renewable energy (generation and transmission), transport infrastructure (road, rail, and transition to Net Zero), water and utilities projects, property developments and broader land use planning initiatives
- Collaborate with a diverse range of technical specialists including ecologists, acousticians, contaminated land scientists, engineers, and designers
You're passionate about environmental planning and approvals, with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and communities.
- 3–15 years of experience in environmental planning and approvals
- Proven experience leading or contributing to major projects and approval strategies
- A sound understanding of Queensland's environmental assessment frameworks and planning legislation
- Demonstrated ability to manage or support complex, multidisciplinary projects
- Strong communication skills and an interest in mentoring others
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute to a high-performing, growing team
