As an Environmental Approvals and Planning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in leading environmental approvals for renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support environmental approvals to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Australia and globally to achieve project goals
  • Support business development activities through proposal writing and client engagement
  • Manage project approvals, risk assessments, and compliance strategies to minimize risks and maximize outcomes
  • Stay informed on legislation and policy changes to influence sustainable project outcomes and provide expert advice
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental approvals, permitting, or planning within the infrastructure or energy sectors
  • Strong knowledge of Queensland regulatory frameworks, including the Planning Act 2016, Vegetation Management Act 1999, Nature Conservation Act 1992, and EPBC Act 1999
  • Consulting experience is highly desirable, but not essential
  • Passion for sustainability and renewable energy projects, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
