Status: Permanent Full Time - Leadership Allowance + Teaching Component

Commencement Date: Term 1, 2026

Position Location: Burgmann Anglican School, Valley Campus, 4 The Valley Avenue, Gungahlin

Line Managment: Responsible to the Head of Senior School and ultimately the Principal.

Duties:

  • Lead and support a team of Senior School Mathematics teachers (Years 9 to 12)
  • Drive curriculum development, differentiation and pedagogical leadership
  • Manage faculty operations including budgeting, moderation, WHS andplanning
  • Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues
  • Contribute to whole-school programs including pastoral care and co-curricularlife
  • Promote and model the School's values and Christian ethos

Salary, Terms and Conditions

The successful applicant will be employed under the Independent Schools (Teachers) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025. Salary will be determined according to qualifications and years of experience.

  • A Leadership allowance and up to 0.3 FTE release time
