The role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this opportunity is for a well rounded accounts payable professional looking at consolidating their skills to suit our stand-alone AP function.
What you would do
- Supplier Statement Reconciliations - using Excel with Vlookups
- Query resolution - replying to emails and phone queries from Suppliers and Branches
- Invoice Processing:
o Inventory -matching Invoice to Purchase Order via 3-step match
o Expense type Invoices
- Previous solid experience working in an end to end Accounts Payable position processing a high volume of invoices, emails, and Supplier Statement Reconciliations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent computer skills, intermediate skills in MS Excel (as a minimum)-e.g. experience working with Vlookup, Pivot Table, Sort, Filter
- Excellent reconciliation skills
- High attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts
- Good Understanding of Inventory and 3-step match
