About the role

We are looking for a Manager Data and AI Governance to lead and implement governance frameworks across our organization. In this role, you will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure our data and AI initiatives align with our business goals and regulatory requirements.

Day-to-day:

Strategic Business Partnerships:

• Support Data Owners and Stewards to deliver the enterprise data and AI governance roadmap.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data and AI governance initiatives with business goals.
  
• Build relationships and support the Business and functional areas to ensure data-related business requirements are well understood and prioritized.
  

Data Governance:

• Develop and enforce policies for data quality, integrity, and security.
  
• Manage data lifecycle and remediation activities.
  
• Train Data Stewards on governance practices and monitor progress to compliance.
  

AI Governance:

• Maintain data and AI governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance.
  
• Support the development and implementation of ethical data and AI guidelines.
  
• Assess risks such as bias and privacy concerns and monitor AI system performance.
  
  

Reporting and Monitoring:

• Provide governance reporting related to data remediation, compliance, ownership, and quality.
  
• Represent business requirements for data management platforms.
  
  

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

• Experience in large-scale data management and knowledge of data protection and AI practices.
  
• Strong consulting skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
