• Contribute to patient care by providing clinical support services delegated by and under the supervision of the Nutrition Assistant Team Leader and Dietitian Clinical Lead

  About The Role
  
  Clinical SupportPractice
  • Ability to show initiative and work flexibly with sound knowledge of the major clinical support activities performed within the clinical area of the Department of Dietetics and Food Services.
  • Ability to acquire and apply knowledge in dietetics and food services, such as knowledge of the health care system, nutritional formulas and supplements, enteral feeding, basic medical terminology and basic nutrition requirements for hospital inpatients .

  • Effective communication skills that enable the development of improved service delivery outcomes and effective relationships with staff, patients and other key stakeholders.
    
    
  Team Participation/Service Improvement
  • Ability to contribute positively to the nutrition support services clinical team by supporting and contributing to service improvement activities.
