Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Sydney, Australia || Hybrid

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the existing CI/CD pipeline (Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, git/TFS, PowerShell)
  • Assess and build new monitoring capability across on-premises & cloud environments
  • Design and implement new automation solutions using DevOps tools
  • Manage the design and implementation of new pipelines
  • Assist in managing projects through to completion with the DevOps Manager/Supervisor
  • Support the implementation of our next-generation product stack (Microservices, Terraform, EKS, Consul, Vault)
  • Collaborate with Cloud Engineers to develop AWS solutions
  • Provide 2nd level support for DevOps activities
Qualifications:
  • IT degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in a DevOps role
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and methods
  • Knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies
  • Experience with scripting/coding from previous Software Engineering or IT Operations roles
  • Understanding of hosting production environments on AWS
  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD build pipelines
  • Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code
  • Passion for automating manual processes
  • Desire to continuously improve and innovate
