Associate Recruitment Consultant | Zone IT Solutions | Empowering Careers Across Australia

We are looking for an SDET Engineer based in Sydney with strong hands-on experience in automation test frameworks such as Playwright, along with proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins

Role Requirements:

  • Strong programming experience in Python
  • Hands-on experience with automation test frameworks such as Playwright
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
  • Experience in testing both UI and API components of web applications
  • Skilled in testing Web APIs (REST, GraphQL, HTTP, etc.)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Soft Skills:

  • Takes complete ownership of quality and testing processes
  • Advocates for best practices and drives testing initiatives
  • Ability to work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to improve processes (e.g., embedding quality in Definition of Ready/Done)
  • Confident in voicing critical opinions during go/no-go discussions
  • Eagerness for continuous learning and self-improvement
  • Strong passion for software testing and quality assurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability in client stakeholder management and coordinating effectively across onsite-offshore teams
