Overview

DEVSECOPS Environment Maintenance / Tier 3 Support Specialist – support the Joint Cyberspace of our client. This role plays a critical part in sustaining and enhancing Australia's cyber defence capabilities, ensuring the ADF has access to resilient, secure, and agile information warfare systems.

What you'll do
  • Manage the delivery and support of client services through SAFe development cycles.
  • Execute, monitor, and maintain the client's software and hardware suite.
  • Build, configure, and manage infrastructure components in DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Support and troubleshoot Tier 3 operational issues across virtualised and containerised environments.
  • Produce high-quality documentation (SOPs, HLD, DLD, SAD, SOD).
  • Work within client ICT and cyber security governance frameworks.
  • Engage with stakeholders to support cyber operations outcomes.
What we're looking for
  • Strong experience with Linux OS automation and administration
  • Hands-on experience with IT automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Chef)
  • Proficiency with containerisation & orchestration (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo)
  • Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V and virtualised platforms
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Engagement: Specialist Technical ICT – Equivalent APS6 ICT Development Manager
  • Clearance: Must have NV2 Security Clearance
  • Contract Duration: Initial contract is 24 months with potential for 3 x 12-month renewals.

  • Knowledge of cyber operations & toolsets
  • Government ICT experience
  • Networking (routing, switching, firewalls)
  • Experience working in air-gapped environments
  • Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence)
  • Contribute to mission-critical client's cyber capability
