About The Role

National Intermodal is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for an ERP Transformation to report to the ERP Director, based in our Sydney CBD office. This pivotal 9-12-month maximum term contract role will lead the definition and implementation of a transformative ERP program, focusing on Finance and Procurement functions. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including the Systems Integrator, ERP Vendor, Change Lead, Test Manager, Project Manager, and ERP Director, to deliver innovative business and technical outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and technical requirements for Finance and Procurement, ensuring clear validation.
• Partnering with Subject Matter Experts to define current and future state processes, translating needs into actionable functional specifications and solution designs.
• Facilitating workshops, interviews, and sessions with diverse stakeholders, aligning with the Systems Integrator and ERP Vendor on system capabilities.
• Supporting the full project lifecycle, requirements to hypercare including test scenario creation, planning, execution, and defect resolution with the Test Manager.
• Conducting change impact assessments and assist the Change Lead with stakeholder communications and training development.
• Ensuring traceability of requirements through design, build, test, and deployment, driving Business Process Improvement and Digital Finance initiatives.
• Overseeing data migration activities, including mapping, validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution, while contributing to data transformation and Knowledge Transfer.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field is desired.
• Extensive experience as a Finance Manager and Business Analyst, specialising in ERP implementations for finance and procurement.
• Deep knowledge of Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting) and Procurement (P2P, vendor management, sourcing) processes.
• Proven expertise with ERP platforms.
• Strong ability to engage diverse stakeholders, including technical teams and vendors, with excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience in end-to-end project delivery (design, testing, deployment, hypercare) using Agile, Lean, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Skilled in data migration, including legacy systems, data cleansing, and validation, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and facilitating agile ceremonies in a dynamic environment.
