Ferretti Search is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Collections Specialist to support a high-volume accounts receivable portfolio for a nationally recognized consumer goods company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working directly with large corporate customers, and taking ownership of the collections process in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

  • Location: Charlotte
  • Compensation: Up to $80k, commensurate with experience
  • Schedule: Hybrid; flexible start between 7:30am and 9:00am

What You Would Do:

  • Manage a portfolio of Enterprise customer accounts totaling over $10M in receivables.
  • Collect on past-due invoices via email, phone, and customer billing portals.
  • Review and interpret check remittances, resolve short-pays, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Investigate outstanding balances and deductions in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation.
  • Review and release credit holds in accordance with established company policy.
  • Identify patterns and root causes of payment delays and recommend process improvements.

What Skills You Need:

  • 3+ years of B2B credit and collections experience, supporting major accounts in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong reconciliation skills and experience resolving complex payment discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus) and customer billing portals.
  • Comfortable managing large corporate accounts and working cross-functionally.
  • Strong initiative, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
