Program Manager with Health experience- Sydney

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex initiatives in the health sector, with a focus on contact centre and telephony transformation, cloud platforms (AWS and Microsoft), and product/service development. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end program delivery, operational readiness, and strategic alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-stream programs involving health sector transformation, contact centre, and telephony solutions.
  • Oversee solution delivery leveraging AWS and Microsoft platforms.
  • Drive product and service development from inception through launch and ongoing maintenance.
  • Ensure program governance, risk management, and compliance with sector regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Manage program-level reporting, benefits tracking, and performance metrics.
  • Support operational readiness, workforce transition, and post-implementation optimisation.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager in large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Strong domain knowledge in health, contact centre operations, and telephony systems.
  • Hands-on experience delivering solutions using AWS and Microsoft cloud platforms.
  • Track record in product/service development and operational management.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and governance skills.
  • Strong financial, schedule, and risk management capability.

Desirable

  • Experience in government or regulated environments.
  • Program or project management certification (PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, Agile PM).
  • Understanding of integration and migration strategies in cloud environments.
