About The Opportunity

Due to company growth, a unique opportunity exists for a full time Senior Project Manager specialising in residential / accommodation projects to join Savills dynamic and dedicated Projects team in Brisbane. We are offering an experienced Project Manager the chance to accelerate their career and step up into this Senior PM role. This role will provide the opportunity to work across a range of technical and interesting construction projects across QLD.

Key responsibilities
  • Project delivery experience in major precincts, mixed-use developments, residential or accommodation projects.
  • Manage all phases of the project to ensure that the client's objectives are met.
  • Brief development, implementing procurement protocols through to tender and award and the effective management of project teams.
  • Manage the appointment of consultants on behalf of clients in conjunction with the staff allocated to the project.
  • Assist in the preparation of programs for the design, construction and general delivery of projects.
  • Advise clients on the most appropriate option for the design and the construction of their project and provide concise reports.
  • Manage the handover of the works including defect rectification and operational training where appropriate.
What Sets You Apart (Qualifications and Experience)
  • Tertiary qualifications in a property or a construction related discipline.
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager at the PM or SPM level (preferably client-side).
  • Exposure to residential / accommodation sectors (Build to Sell, Build to Rent, PBSA, Hotel, Affordable Living, Mixed Use).
  • Strong understanding and proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies, in particular, Head Contract, ECI and Design and Construct is preferable.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills; written, listening and verbal.
  • Be well presented and have a positive attitude.
  • Experience of all stages of projects from planning through to handover.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow business relationships.
