
Assistant Property Manager

Are you new to property management, currently a property management assistant, or only a few years in the industry as a Property Manager? Are you looking for a role where you are genuinely valued, supported, and empowered?
Experience is not essential for this role, as we are looking for someone within approx. 0-3 years industry experience.
We need someone who can use their initiative, judgement, organisational and interpersonal skills to support our Senior Property Manager (SPM) with operational tasks as you grow into your own portfolio. We can provide industry-leading training, so you will learn "best practice", but we are also open to a hybrid model should you wish to explore sales assistant/personal assistant pathways as well under the Principal/Director.

What does this mean?
We cap our caseloads to 100+15 properties per property manager (100 "core" and 15 "overflow"). We will never ask you to manage 150+ or experience the stress of being asked to do too much with too little time We want you to have the time to do your work to the standard you and our clients rightly expect. You will be asked to initially support our SPM and then together we will build your portfolio until we hit your 100+15 capacity — we have all the leads you need to achieve this but ability to acquire new business is always a bonus
In our office we use IRE's ROL Rentals, Uploader and 2Apply, PropertyMe, DocuSign, TICA, RP Data, and of course REA, Domain, RBO and REI Master Forms — we can teach you these but experience is also a bonus
Finally, this is an on-site office role with travel duties (office car available).

Requirements:
A current South Australian Property Managers license.
A current SA driver's license.
Key duties at this level include supporting senior staff in the leasing and management of rental properties; assisting with documentation such as leases, inspection reports, and management agreements; responding to general enquiries from tenants; arranging maintenance and repairs in consultation with senior staff; assisting with property inspections and open homes; and preparing and updating rental lists and website content.
