Legal Assistant / Secretary - Personal Injury

Location: Brisbane

We are partnering with a well-established law firm to recruit a skilled Legal Assistant to support a high-performing Personal Injury team in their Brisbane office. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic practice while utilising your legal support experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Drafting and formatting correspondence, legal documents, and court materials
  • Preparing briefs to counsel and liaising with third parties (e.g. Government departments, insurers, medical professionals)
  • Managing digital dictation and file correspondence
  • Coordinating appointments, medico-legal assessments, and conferences
  • Organising and maintaining files including archiving
  • General office and secretarial duties including mail, filing, and photocopying
  • Assisting with court document preparation and tracking case timelines

What we're looking for:

  • Prior legal assistant or secretarial experience (ideally in personal injury or litigation)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional, courteous, and client-focused approach
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a team environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
