Looking for your next step in legal admin? We are seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic Legal Assistants.

The role

Our Legal Assistants are an integral part of the team - supporting Lawyers, providing exceptional client service and administrative excellence.

The work includes:

  • Building relationships with clients/barristers/lawyers and liaising via phone, letter, email and in-person
  • Collaborating with team members, extending beyond your own team
  • Drafting, proofreading and filing legal documents and correspondence
  • Preparing briefs to counsel, court books and mediation briefs
  • Managing internal and external meetings, including coordinating travel and diary management
  • Matter management including setting up files, conflict checks and due diligence procedures
  • Completing end of month billing, including invoice preparation and file closures

You will bring:

  • Experience in administration and customer service essential, experience as a Legal Assistant or Personal Assistant desirable
  • Microsoft365 proficiency and confidence learning new systems
  • Experience with Actionstep desirable
  • Adaptability and experience in an efficient and fast-paced environment
  • Initiative and autonomy while also taking a collaborative approach
  • Excellent written skills and attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fine-tuned multi-tasking and organisational skills
