Our Victoria Civil Infrastructure team tackles complex challenges across a broad range of markets, from concept to construction.
We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong background in stormwater management and drainage design to lead innovative, sustainable solutions for major infrastructure projects.
The Opportunity Lead drainage design packages, including assessment, design, and documentation of stormwater systems and WSUD features Deliver high-quality technical outputs such as designs, reports, cost estimates, and project documentation for various project sizes Independently manage workstreams, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and stakeholder communications are met Provide technical expertise in water quality modelling, site investigations, and drainage design coordination Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture while supporting junior engineers with mentorship and feedback At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive.

Is this role right for you?A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering with 4+ years' experience, ideally in a consulting environment Proven expertise in stormwater drainage design, including use of ARR 2019, Austroads guidance, 12 D Drainage, and MUSIC modelling software Demonstrated experience delivering drainage designs for infrastructure projects, including concept and detailed documentation Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders at all technical levels A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for digital innovation and sustainable design outcomes What We Offer You At Arup, we care about each member's success, so we can grow together.
