Senior Consultant

(i.e.,) is currently looking for a Senior Consultant – SEO Specialist to join the team and lead cutting-edge SEO strategy for a high-profile client. You'll combine deep technical SEO expertise with strategic foresight, leveraging advancements in AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and emerging search formats like voice, visual, and generative AI-driven results to keep our client at the forefront of organic discovery.

This is a Part-Time Contract position and as the Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the client SEO strategy, ensuring visibility and competitiveness in an evolving search landscape. This role blends deep technical expertise with strategic foresight, leveraging advancements in AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and emerging search touchpoints (voice, visual, and generative AI-driven results) to keep our client at the forefront of organic discovery.

You will partner with content strategists, developers, data strategists and designers to deliver a best-in-class search experience. You will act as an SEO authority, staying ahead of algorithm updates, AI-driven changes to SERPs, and evolving user search behaviours.

• Lead SEO strategy — Own and evolve the search roadmap in line with brand goals and emerging trends
  
  
• Stay ahead of AI search — Anticipate and adapt to AI-driven changes (SGE, LLMs, multimodal search)
  
  
• Optimise everything — From metadata and site architecture to landing pages, drive organic discovery and conversions
  
  
• Master technical SEO — Audit, troubleshoot, and guide dev teams on site speed, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and crawlability
  
  
• Build authority — Develop backlink strategies and partnerships to strengthen domain authority
  
  
• Manage to targets — Define, monitor, and report on SEO KPIs, taking proactive action when needed
  
  
• Turn data into action — Use GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other tools to inform strategic decisions
  
  

• Technically Minded – 5+ years of SEO experience on enterprise or high-profile brand sites
  
  
• Proven Track Record – Demonstrated success delivering against SEO performance targets
  
  
• Future-Focused – Ability to adapt SEO strategies to AI-driven and emerging search formats
  
  
• Data-Driven – Proficient in GA4, Search Console, GTM, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
  
  
• Well-Rounded – Strong in technical SEO, content optimisation, and off-page authority building
