Position: Patient Access Liaison/Call Center Rep
Schedule: Full-Time Days, Clinical Access Center

Summary: Assists callers and/or patients with way-finding, appointment scheduling, pre-service registration, insurance verification, co-pay collection, physician referral, initial screening of patient symptoms, class scheduling, and other inquiries. Provides high-level customer service to ensure a positive impression of Summa Health.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required; post-high school coursework in healthcare, accounting, business, or related fields preferred.
- One (1) year experience in customer service or office support preferred; contact or call center experience preferred.
- Experience in registration, insurance verification, pre-certification, financial counseling, patient accounts a plus.
- Knowledge of keyboarding with high accuracy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
Physical Demands & Work Environment: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, work weekends, evenings, and holidays, with reliable transportation. Flexibility to adjust work hours as needed.
Salary: $17.26/hr - $20.71/hr, based on experience and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and more.
