Overview

Share your recovery journey for the benefit of others. Experience the satisfaction of helping to facilitate self-directed recovery. This full-time position will work Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm in the Crisis Residential Unit in Maryville, IL. Evening, overnight, and weekend shifts are eligible for a shift differential.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide consumer-driven services.
  2. Model traits such as personal responsibility, self-advocacy, and hopefulness.
  3. Refer and link consumers to community resources.
  4. Attend meetings and consumer staffings and help to develop programs.
  5. With co-workers, supervisor, facility staff members and consumers, ensure a safe and sanitary living environment.
  6. Answer calls and messages, receive and distribute mail, and observe video surveillance equipment where applicable.

Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.

Qualifications
  1. Must be at least 21 years old.
  2. Must possess a minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  3. Personal experience with recovery process and willingness to discuss it as appropriate.
  4. Demonstrated skills in human services and in services to adults.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work within organizational structure.
  6. Ability to accept supervision.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work constructively with consumers, treatment resources, and the community.
  8. Valid driver's license, private auto insurance, and be insurable.
  9. Basic computer skills including MS Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $17.00 - $18.00 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
