Eglinton Beach Primary School (PS) opened its doors to the community of Eglinton at the commencement of 2025. We are an inclusive school with classes from Kindergarten to Year 6, along with an Endorsed Education Support Program (EESP). The Manager of Corporate Services (MCS) is a vital part of our leadership team, contributing to the strategic direction and daily operations with a focus on workforce development, human resource management, building and facilities management, and financial planning and leadership.

The RoleThe successful applicant will ideally have a proven track record in human resource and financial management and the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders at all levels. The ability to manage teams and support effective operations in the school office is a key component of the role in a rapidly growing school. The EESP and large early childhood enrolment have created a large non-teaching staff team, and the ability to support and manage non-teaching staff to grow and develop will be highly regarded. The MCS should place a strong focus on professional growth and be keen to learn and grow with a forward-thinking team. As a pilot school in Phase Two of Program Kaartdijin, familiarity with current department programs and the ability to quickly build knowledge in new programs is preferred. These include, but are not limited to, Kaartdijin, Asset and HRMIS, Schools Resourcing, ICT Dashboard and RAMS Recruitment.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and management of human resources, financial management, and business operations in a school context.
- Lead, develop and support non-teaching staff and work within a growing staff team.
- Contribute to strategic planning and daily operations to support student outcomes.
- Support the implementation of programs such as Kaartdijin, HRMIS, Schools Resourcing, ICT Dashboard and RAMS Recruitment.
- Proven track record in human resource management and financial management.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in leading teams and managing operations in a school environment.
- Experience with non-teaching staff management and development is highly regarded.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
