Role Description

RSLSA is seeking a part-time Finance Officer to join our team in Adelaide, SA.

Reporting to and working with the Chief Executive Officer, this is a part-time (2-3 days per week) finance management role covering:

  • General ledger, bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Staff payroll, superannuation and leave entitlements
  • IAS and BAS
  • Monthly financial reporting
  • Grant submissions
  • Annual liaison with Accountants and Auditors

Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.

Days of work are flexible and will be discussed with the successful candidate.

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Experience with preparing financial statements and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in finance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector is advantageous
