We are not looking for a standard HSEQ Manager who fulfills all the general duties of a classic HSEQ Manager. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in evolving our Safety System into version 3.0. Someone who understands SharePoint sites, digital platforms and can lead the transformative journey we are undertaking.

The type of person you need to be is someone who gets excited about reinventing and modernizing our existing management system taking existing \"standard industry style\" plans, policies, procedures and evolving the system into a futuristic and right sized system suitable for today, tomorrow and beyond Someone with a flare and passion to dream big about the changes but can then adapt to meet the intended outcome.

Munster Services Group, a trusted name in the water and wastewater utilities sectors, is seeking an exceptional HSEQ Manager to EVOLVE of our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality SYSTEM. The Role:

As the HSEQ Manager, you will lead and execute strategies that align with our commitment to excellence. You'll further develop, implement, enhance and maintain robust systems that meet and exceed ISO standards, fostering a proactive safety and quality culture. You'll be the hands-on leader, driving meaningful change across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
  • Champion a positive safety culture, empowering teams to take ownership of HSE practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS legislation, standards, and company policies.
  • Act as the go-to for HSE systems, including audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
  • Lead the enhancement and development of our Enable HR system
  • Lead the development and implementation of modern management plans.
  • Assist with the management of our rehabilitation and return-to-work programs to support employee well-being.
Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Maintain ISO 9001 compliance, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Investigate quality concerns, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented.
  • Oversee internal and vendor audits to uphold product and service standards.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of QA processes, non-conformance reporting, and customer feedback.
  • Manage the calibration schedule for all on-site measuring equipment.
Training and Development
  • Verify Our Teams Competency through VOC processes.
  • Identify and address training needs to upskill employees and maintain compliance.
  • Lead the rollout of modern and simple safety, quality, and environmental initiatives across teams utilising innovative methods of delivery.
About You:
  • Proven experience in a similar HSEQ leadership role, with a hands-on, proactive approach.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and WHS legislation.
  • Relevant qualifications in WHS, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence.
  • Proven track record of driving cultural change and achieving measurable results.
  • Ability to take ownership, driving change, and leading by example.
  • Experience in utilities, or industrial sectors is highly regarded.
  • Excited about AI, QR Codes, Online Platforms, Right Sizing Systems
